Meet the Team

At Dr. Brown’s office, our entire team is highly trained and dedicated to providing excellent orthodontic care in a personalized, friendly and FUN environment! We proudly offer something unheard of in a single doctor’s office, over 200 years of combined experience in the profession. It is no secret that investing in continuing education provides benefits to all of those we serve. In 2010, our team received certification by the American Association of Orthodontic’s endorsed Academy of Orthodontic Assisting. We earned this distinguished level of achievement by completing countless hours of continuing education and passing rigorous testing on orthodontic theory and technique. If you want the Smile of a Lifetime, come and be apart of our family!

Administrative Staff

I am Dr. Brown’s Treatment Coordinator. I have been here since the beginning and have worked in the dental profession since 1999. I love seeing the change in patients as they progress form the beginning of treatment to the end. Witnessing a shy patient’s personal transformation from being self-conscious to becoming outgoing is especially rewarding! The personal opportunity I have to see the lives of children and adults changed for the better is so rewarding. Dr. Brown’s motto of “Smiles Designed with Uniqueness in Mind” is such a great inspiration to the practice. Each and every person that steps through this door receives a unique treatment plan suited for him or her. I love working for a practice that treats patients as individuals. In my spare time, my husband and I enjoy the outdoors. We like to camp and rock crawl. I also enjoy scrapbooking and could spend hours in my scrapbooking room designing ways to create memories.

I have been working in the Orthodontic profession for over a decade, and with Dr. Brown since 2003. I started as an Orthodontic assistant for Dr. Brown and after having two more children, I am now working part time. In the afternoon, I assist Dr. Brown with patients, as well as assisting the ladies up front with appointments, phones, reports and correspondence. My time away from the office I enjoy spending with my husband of 10 plus years and four children, two of which are in college. My family and I enjoy anything to do with the lake, boating, fishing, hiking, water skiing and just hanging out feeding the ducks.

“Time flies when you’re having fun.” And that’s exactly what has happened. Hi! I’m Caryl, mother of two (and wife of one). I discovered the dental field and orthodontics in 1975 and am currently a registered dental assistant, certified in orthodontics. Working in several offices in several states, I have seen the art of orthodontics practiced with many methods always improving with time. One fact remains constant: Smiles speak the universal language of happiness. As a clinician and lab tech, I am proud to be an integral part in the development of each individual, perfect smile. The past 35 plus years have definitely been a great adventure and I have no reason to believe that the future years will be any different!

I’ve been a clinical orthodontic assistant with Dr. Brown since 2004. In 1992 I began my experience in the dental / orthodontic profession, with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. I am a Registered Dental Assistant, Certified in Expanded Duties of Dental Auxiliary Personnel with Certification in Orthodontic Assisting. I have worked in different venues throughout my life, but always returned to my first love – orthodontics. I love being a part of boosting a patient’s self-confidence by creating beautiful smiles that will last a lifetime. In my spare time I enjoy reading, movies, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

As a Registered Dental Assistant with over two decades of experience in orthodontics, I can say, without a doubt, that I thoroughly love what I do! Assisting in creating a fabulous smile is just a part of the enjoyment I receive. With people having such busy schedules today, I make it my priority that their orthodontic appointment is the best part of their day! Orthodontics is more than providing a quality of life; it’s building a bond of close relationships with each patient and parent. Honesty, integrity and confidence are all by products of what each patient can expect from us daily. When I’m not at work, I enjoy boating, water skiing and speeding across Beaver Lake on my jet ski where my husband of 37 plus years and I live. We have a daughter and son-in-law, with 2 beautiful grandchildren who live in Seattle and a son and daughter-in-law, living in Chicago. We are so proud of our children and very blessed with the highest calling there is…Grand parenting!

Faith, Family and Friends...These are the joys of my life with a supportive husband and five (yes, 5!) beautiful children. I am overflowing with blessings…a wonderful family and great friends. I enjoy cooking (Cajun is my specialty). Bon Appetit! I also enjoy being out on the lake and a good book. As an added bonus, I absolutely love my career as a registered orthodontic assistant.  It has been so rewarding. Since 1996, I have had the privilege of helping to create beautiful smiles. Being able to make a difference in a person’s life is a responsibility I gladly accept! After all, what could be more fun?!
